About this task

Create Virtual Host, Generate CSR, and Modify Virtual Host are to be used only when you want to register VP using third party CA signed cert from VC 8.0U1 onwards (VASA5 supported VC).

For regular registration using default ECOM certificates, the virtual host (VH) is created automatically.

To register VP using CA signed cert on a non-VASA5 VC, you must use the ECOMConfig page to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and import a CA Signed Cert.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select Serviceability > Applications > VASA > Virtual Hosts
